Everyone wants to make a good living, however there appears to be a number of companies who will do some really bad things to make as much money as they can.  Everyone knows that the weight loss industry is huge and therefore there are many scams relating to weight loss products.

Free Trials – Be very wary about free trials.  They aren’t always as free as you would imagine.  A lot of the companies will get you to pay a small amount of money on your credit card for postage and packing, which sounds fair enough.  But then the following month you discover you have been charged a large amount of money and that they have sent you even more of the product.

This is called auto-shipping and basically you start to receive goods that you didn’t even want.  Really, you should be in control of how and when you order.  It shouldn’t be dictated to you.  If they made it cleat that this was going to happen then fair enough.  The problem is that they usually bury these details in a section of the website you don’t even visit.

It’s a marketing technique employed in many other industries including book and music clubs.  Most of us have fallen victim at some point.  They lure you in with the promise of cheap goods and then suddenly you’re being sent items you didn’t want.  Sure, you’re supposed to tell them each month you don’t want the particular item but sometimes it’s easy to forget or perhaps your request didn’t go through correctly.

Unfortunately these practices have been around for many years and are likely to continue.  Unless of course, the government decides to make it illegal.  Until then, companies will continue to stoop to such depths in order to make their money.

So make sure you don’t fall prey to such practices.  If you want to learn how to speed up weight loss, then make sure you buy through a reputable company.  Often money back guarantees will be given, so if you don’t like the product or it doesn’t work for you, then simply send it back for a refund.
